10/18/2012 (press release: 180FitNutrition) // Denver, CO, USA // Carissa Stidger

180 Fitness & Nutrition is excited to announce their proud partnership with Colorado’s own ABA Professional Basketball team, the Colorado Kings, as Clay Cruse and Carissa Stidger accept their new positions as the Colorado Kings’ Strength and Conditioning Coaches. September 18, 2012 marked the initial day for Veteran’s camp and the last week to finalize this year’s roster.

“This is a strong, solid team always has and always will be. With the education, knowledge, experience, and passion 180 Fitness & Nutrition brings to the table, I see no reason why the Colorado Kings won’t win the ABA championship this year,” said Co-Owner, Personal Trainer with 180 Fitness & Nutrition Clay Cruse. “180 Fitness & Nutrition is the push this team needs to win!”

Established in 2005, the Colorado Kings is a professional basketball team based in Aurora, CO; this year marks the team’s 3rd season as the state’s only ABA basketball team since the Denver Nuggets. The 1st season was marked by an outstanding record of 24-1 and a trip to the Elite 8; season 2 was just as eventful with a trip to play in China.

“Many people don’t realize the true impact nutrition and strength have on an athlete’s performance. We plan to take this team to a whole new level that many of the players didn’t even know existed by focusing on the strength and conditioning aspects involved when playing professional Basketball,” said Carissa Stidger, Co-Owner, Personal Trainer with 180 Fitness & Nutrition. “With many games ahead of us, we are sure to create a lot of noise!”

Saturday, October 6th 2012 marked the first preseason game for the Colorado Kings with a victory over the Greeley Cougars at the Thunderdome. Come see the work 180 Fitness & Nutrition is doing with the Colorado Kings, and cheer on your very own Colorado Pro Basketball Team!
