When it comes to vehicle design, style and safety can sometimes seem at odds, but the refreshed 2015 Hyundai Azera was designed to effectively reconcile those differences. Introduced to the North American market at the Miami International Auto Show last month, the 2015 Azera dons sleek design touches in the front and rear while featuring new active-safety technologies.
The front fascia of the updated Azera has received bolder styling on the grille and bumper, while the full-size sedan’s rear bumper and standard 18-inch alloy wheels have also been revamped. On Azera Limited models, buyers will now benefit from new LED fog lights as well. Meanwhile, in the safety department, Blind Spot Detection with Rear Cross Traffic alert and the segment-first Lane Change Assist have been added as standard features to warn drivers of potential collisions.

Beyond its style and safety upgrades, the 2015 Azera will offer a variety of other new standard features that will further boost its value. A hands-free Smart Trunk opener will allow owners to automatically pop the trunk by standing close behind it for more than three seconds with the keys in their pocket, while illuminated door sill plates will help light the way into the vehicle at night. Inside the cabin, the 2015 Azera has been outfitted with a larger, eight-inch LCD navigation display and a rearranged center stack. Under the hood, the car will continue to sport a 3.3-liter direct-injected V6 engine that churns out 293 horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque.
