The Nissan Pathfinder has been a favorite of consumers and critics alike since its redesign two years ago, and now the SUV is offering more features across more trims for the 2015 model year. To start, every 2015 Pathfinder has been equipped with Enhanced D-Step Shift logic in the standard Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT) for a more traditional shifting feel, while all four-wheel-drive models now feature Hill Descent Control.
Helping to prevent accidents by alerting drivers to potential collisions, Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert have been integrated into all SL and Platinum trims of the 2015 Pathfinder, and the Around View Monitor has been added to the SL Tech Package and SL Premium Package. Additional upgrades to the midrange SL models include a 120-volt power outlet, a tow hitch and harness in the SL Tech Package and a Nissan Navigation system in the SL Premium Package.

To keep the kids occupied in the second row, the 2015 Pathfinder is available with a new Family Entertainment Package featuring a pair of headrest-mounted seven-inch screens for playing DVDs. Other model-specific enhancements include fog lights, heated side mirrors and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with the HomeLink Universal Transceiver for the SV trim, as well as a Dual Panorama Moonroof for the Platinum trim. Of the nine total exterior color choices for the 2015 Pathfinder, there are six new options, including Glacier White, Gun Metallic, Java Metallic, Magnetic Black, Midnight Jade and Pearl White.
