Redesigned for the 2015 model year, the Subaru Outback was praised by editors for its ample cargo space, its confidence-inspiring Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and its upscale interior quality after they put the crossover through its paces on a mountain-biking trip. KBB.com also noted the Outback’s impressive standard fuel economy, which rose to 33 mpg on the highway for the 2015 model year.
“The Outback is not only safe, spacious and fuel efficient, but it gets your family where it wants to be despite the road conditions, whether it’s to the mountains or just to the local sledding hill,” said Chris Dunn, general manager of Mastria Subaru, a Subaru dealership in Raynham, Mass. “While many Massachusetts families have felt like they’re trapped inside with all the snow we’ve received recently, Outback owners have probably been taking their kids outdoors to enjoy all the white stuff.”
The Subaru Outback remains a popular choice for car buyers across the United States, setting a January sales record last month by moving 11,351 units. That tally made the Outback the automaker’s best-seller in January, and it represented a 38 percent increase compared to the same month last year. For 11 straight months now, the Outback has eclipsed 10,000 units in U.S. sales.
