Saverin made headlines in recent days after it was revealed that he had renounced his U.S. citizenship last year. Many people, including two U.S. senators, accused the 30-year-old of dodging taxes. Saverin struck back yesterday, saying, “It is unfortunate that my personal choice has led to a public debate, based not on the facts, but entirely on speculation and misinformation.”
