Business card printing tips

When it comes to business card printing people have a lot more options available than just the traditional square card printed with their company name and address. Today’s cards are designed to reflect the type of business the person is affiliated with. Cards can still be printed on the standard two inch by three inch card stock, but they can also be printed on card stock cut into interesting and eye catching shapes. Many new styles have rounded edges or have one side made with square corners and the opposite side made as a semi-circle. Custom cut cards can be made so the edges follow the shape of a particular image printed on the card. The custom cut cards are by far the most eye catching styles available. These create the illusion of depth by following the print on the surface of the card. A moving company could have an image of a moving truck printed on the card, which appears to be driving off the edge with the cab of the truck cut out as the extended edge of the card. This design is not the only optical illusion style available for business card printing. There are new graphics available using digital imaging techniques that actually create a holographic image on the surface of the card. The holographic images are popularly used by people who are representatives for the industry they work in. A person selling real estate can have the image change between their own picture and that of the company they work for. People looking for a more traditional style of card can also have images of their line of work printed on the face of their business card. Someone who works for an interior lighting store can have a picture of a crystal chandelier on their card with the name and address of their company underneath.
