Thanks in large part to the economic recovery, industry-research firm IBISWorld predicts that used-car sales are set to increase by 1.5 percent in the United States this year. It is against this backdrop that CARite is leveraging its more than 40 years of experience selling used vehicles to expand across Greater Detroit with a grand opening in Madison Heights this month. Joining locations in Ortonville, Redford, Garden City and Taylor, the Madison Heights facility marks CARite’s fifth used car dealership in Michigan.
Boasting one of the largest indoor showrooms in the country, CARite Madison Heights has the capacity to house 350 cars in its 55,000-square-foot dealership. Forty-two new jobs are being created as a result of the Madison Heights opening, and CARite has built 24 service bays and six showrooms in order to better serve drivers from all over Greater Detroit. Meanwhile, amenities at the dealership include a pick-up and delivery service, a shuttle service to the nearby Oakland Mall, and free coffee, soda and popcorn in a spacious waiting room. Those benefits are geared toward helping Michigan motorists relax as they seek great deals on an extensive inventory of pre-owned cars, trucks and SUVs from popular brands, including used Toyota, Honda, Ford, Chrysler and Mazda models.
