Various events with mentally challenged adults through the Jewish Association for Residential care “JARC” including Friday night dinners and Sunday afternoon bowling outings.
Cystic Fibrosis charity – Ft. Lauderdale chapter – various outings with impacted CF kids – through Sal and Laurie Capano and their son Nicholas.
Thanksgiving Week – preparation and serving of meals to the needy at the Ebenezer Church – east Boca Raton.
Juvenile diabetes (West Palm Beach chapter) – annual walk-athon – Mizner Park area – Cole enrolls each year with a team of friends – via David and Lani Cohen and their daughter Emily. http://www.jdrf.org/
Moran Family Center – Deerfield Beach – programs for local children – Sunday arts and crafts programs – prepared supplies and assisted younger kids.
The Lords Place – Boynton Beach, fl – transitional housing for homeless families – Landscape project – replanted front entry with flowers and shrubs.
In addition – Lisa Borg (mother) Co Chaired a seminar for the parent organization at St. Andrews School (Boca Raton) on cyber and web safety – guest speaker was Cindy Marlow – from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (Palm Beach Gardens office)
