Makro UK has launched ‘Christmas Made Easy’, across its stores and online, offering a complete range of Christmas essentials for its customers.

To assist busy catering customers, Makro has simplified Christmas by concentrating on the traditional seasonal basics and making customers’ shopping journey as quick and simple as possible.

The ‘Christmas Made Easy’ theme reassures customers that they can easily pick up festive essentials, at steady pricing, and buy everything they need all under one roof.

Makro’s food and drink range covers for the cheap and cheerful to the more luxurious of budgets:

Starters – a selection of starters from soup to lobster, scallops and pate

Choice of Key Mains – a selection of quality meats including fresh or frozen turkey, from ready to carve to a simple crown. Alternatives such as gammon, beef pork or game and a great choice of fish including traditional salmon to something a bit different like mirror carp.

Makro butchers and fishmongers are always on-hand to pre-prepare food to suit the customers’ requirements. A vegetarian option of single portions of nut roast or vegetable wellingtons is available in cases of six to avoid over-purchasing.

Traditional Sides – traditional accompaniments of stuffing balls and pigs in blankets can be purchased in a variety of pack sizes as well as a choice of frozen or fresh vegetables. A Ready to Go 10kg pack of four key prepared vegetables (quartered parsnips, sprouts, peeled potatoes and baton carrots) is also on sale in store.

Desserts – pre-portioned freezer to table desserts range from traditional Christmas puddings, individual or multi-portion, through to ready portioned sherry trifle.

Drinks – a wide range of wholesale alcohol, soft drinks and mixers as well as Champagne and sparkling wine. Many of the ranges are exclusive to Makro so not available on the high street.

The ‘Christmas Made Easy’ range also includes decorations such as a choice of the Pop Up trees, to save time, and Grab and Go with full tree decorations all in one pack. To make decorating simple they are all available in one of four colourways: red and gold; purple and silver; chocolate and champagne; and full multi colour.

With such simple solutions as well as an extensive range of corporate gifts and presents, Makro is making it easy for its customers to fulfill their needs in store.

Makro stores are also extending their opening times to work around the busy schedules of customers and help create a frustration-free shopping experience. Customers can choose to order from the online service for gifts and wines with a free online delivery for orders over £30.
