Rappers are always overlooked for their talent or skill, because image is more appealing to the eye. We are In a era where people don’t need to listen to lyrics, all they have to do is be able to imitate the art and that solidifies the artist. Ever notice how as soon as something hot comes out, Every other artist starts to sound alike? That’s because its called a “Trend”and we all know what a trend is… A Fad! Trends start off well and end bad. The reason why trends are no good is because, when they’re not trending no more… Its OVER.

Now don’t get me wrong im not saying those rappers are repeat offenders but rather they are the “TRENDSETTERS” to follow. If its one thing I can not stand, its listening to a artist album or Mixtape and every song sounds alike. I don’t care if your JADAKISS or LLOYD BANKS That’s just out right irritating. You have to show versatility to be a MC. That doesn’t mean running down south, going up north, or flying out west, and getting a feature make you one neither.
Mixtapes are the purest form of bootleg albums, and its intention is to motivate the street.
