Seattle’s Kate Borkowski will be showcasing her debut album, ‘Beautiful Little Fools’, this Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Lo-Fi Performance Gallery in Seattle, WA. Borkowski is a dynamic performer and an exceptional lyricist, whose music glides effortlessly from sensual rock to solo piano. Borkowski is marked by her haunting voice, elusive lyrics, addictive grooves, and overall dark sound, all of which have helped her to fall in line with the traditions of such songstresses as Amos and Apple. Supporting Borkowski on stage will be Ben Smith (longtime Heart drummer) and bassist Keith Lowe (Fiona Apple, Brad), both of whom made major contributions to ‘Beautiful Little Fools’ and proved excellent collaborators. The 12-track album was mixed entirely by Marcel van Limbeek (longtime Tori Amos mix engineer) in London, UK and was mastered by the legendary Greg Calbi (Paul Simon, Graceland) at Sterling Sound in New York, NY.
Advance tickets are $8 and available through Brown Paper Tickets and $10 at the door. The show starts at 9 p.m. and is for those 21 and up.
