Although McCarty Motors gives back to the community on a regular basis by providing quality Honda and Nissan automotive service and safe, reliable vehicles, the company is going one step further as the holiday season approaches. McCarty Motors is launching its first annual food drive starting on “Black Friday” (November 25, 2011) through December 2, 2011. Donations benefit the local Laramie Soup Kitchen and Interfaith Good Samaritan organizations.
Every customer that brings in a bag on non-perishable food items is entered into a drawing that takes place on December 21. Prizes include one of three $100 gas cards, free oil changes and a free auto detail. Additionally, for every car sold during the food drive, McCarty Motors will donate a $25 bag of non-perishable food items to the two non-profit organizations.
“The food drive is a great way to show our appreciation towards our customers and support for local organizations in need,” said Greg McCarty, president of McCarty Motors. “We’re modeling this on a ‘pay it forward’ initiative. Those who donate food will feel good about their contributions and are rewarded for their involvement. At the same time, they are helping organizations that do wonderful work in our community, which is much needed during the holiday season.”
