National Timeshare Owners Association announces New Executive Director

The National Timeshare Owners Association, founded in 1997 by Ed Hastry, announced today that Lisa Ann Schreier has joined the association as its Executive Director effective immediately. Ms. Schreier who has long been an advocate for timeshare owners, is known as the “Timeshare Crusader”. She is also the creator of ”International Timeshare Appreciation Day” with the official Twitter hash tag #YES2TIMESHARE.

The association is in the process of developing a next generation online platform that will give timeshare owners a greater presence and voice in the timeshare community. “Our goals are to educate both existing and prospective owners so they obtain the very best vacation ownership experience possible”, said Schreier.

NTOA is also forming an advisory committee consisting of respected leaders from both within and outside the timeshare community who will assist in the steering of the organization.

Hastry, will remain active in organizational development and serve on the NTOA advisory committee but will be turning over day to day operations to Schreier and her volunteer staff. “It’s always been my mission to maintain an active and growing organization. Today, we look to the next 20 years and I’m delighted to focus even more of my efforts on the growth and sustainability of the organization.” said Hastry.
