On June 16, providers of month end money online Payday Express, were one of the sponsors of the 2012 Jobs Roadshow, held in Bromley, Kent.
The Roadshow, a collaborative effort by Fish4jobs and The Daily Mirror to bring job opportunities to the local community, arrived near Market Square in the centre of Bromley in the form of a bright orange double decker bus. The event was set up as a part of the Get Britain Working campaign, with the intention of bringing experts and advice directly to job seekers.
Payday Express took part in this recruitment fair to engage with prospective new recruits for their customer service, collections and business development teams. The event was the perfect opportunity for the company to support its local community by providing employment opportunities.
Account manager at the payday loans provider, Liam Hills, said: “This was a great event that gave us a different means of engaging with job seekers with a wide range of skills and experience, which should help to enrich the various teams that the successful candidates may join.”
Between 10am and 6pm on the day, Payday Express accumulated in excess of 20 applications and CVs, making it a very productive recruitment day. The company is now in the process of interviewing the shortlisted applicants.
Of the recruitment fair, human resources adviser Richard Turner said: “As a growing company looking for new recruits, this was a fantastic opportunity for us to come face-to-face with prospective employees and provide job opportunities within our community.”
