Payday Express staff celebrate milestone anniversaries

06/14/2012 (press release: OnlinePR) // Ashleigh Slade

Staff at online payday loans company Payday Express are celebrating milestone anniversaries with the company.

Five members of the Payday Express team are celebrating between three and five years’ service, including Mark Lambourne and Ashleigh Slade, who both joined in 2007, and Therese Rydberg who joined in 2009.

All those who celebrated specific milestones over the last few months have progressed and developed during their time at the no fax payday loans company.

Mark joined Express Finance in March 2007 as an office junior, since then he has developed his career within the company, learning a variety of skills and working within different roles, including positions in the collections department and the finance department.

He was the ninth employee to join Payday Express and has seen constant growth throughout his time with the company, which has moved premises twice in this time, to accommodate growth to more than 100 employees.

In the past five years, Mark’s experience and hard work have enabled him to take on his current role as operations manager. His extensive duties now include managing the different systems that the business uses to serve customers and support customer data, and liaising between business and IT support and development.

Talking about his time at Payday Express, Mark said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here, so far. It is really satisfying to be part of a company that is constantly looking for ways to make improvements while it grows.

“The focus on career progression for all staff, and the new opportunities that arise within the growing number of departments, makes it an exciting company to work for.”

Therese Rydberg, Paula Weldrick and Chris Avent all celebrated three years with Payday Express. Therese started as a marketing administrator and has now progressed to marketing executive. Paula started as a collections agent and has now moved into the collections support team. Chris started as a collections agent before developing training skills by carrying out “buddy training” and going on a “train the trainer” course. He is now collections trainer and quality manager.

HR adviser Richard Turner, who will soon be celebrating four years with the company, said: “Payday Express values the contribution made by all employees, especially those that put in commitment for a number of years. We have a growing number of staff with long service and I feel this is due to the many opportunities for career progression that we offer.”
