The Dance Inspired Clothing Brand is going big with its 2012 Spring/Summer Collections

– When professional dancer Chelsie Hightower isn’t performing at events or on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars, one of the things she is hard to work at is her clothing line with Sugar and Bruno. After joining the brand in 2008, Chelsie has worked closely with Sugar and Bruno to create a line of dance inspired clothing that is free flowing and fashionable. The S&B brand has been a huge hit with dancers , creating street style and fashion looks that have grown into the teen and juniors markets.

“These last few years have been quite the journey” said Chelsie, “We have gone from my first Down and Groovy t-shirt to what we are doing now… The brand has really evolved.
I can throw out crazy ideas and we go for it , always innovating making clothes that look and feel incredible. This years Spring line is the best yet, it’s amazing and we are all so excited about it … check it out in my look book.

“Chelsie is an important part of the team when we are working on our new lines”, said Sugar and Bruno’s VP, Steve Powers. “Being a dancer She makes sure that our fabrics and cuts are the least restrictive and offer the most freedom of movement. We have worked hard on this years line offering something for everyone … bright colors, cool graphics and hot fashion pieces.

The 2012 line, that just hit retail stores in February 2012, caters to both performance and style, making it one of the world’s most sought-after brands in the youth fashion and lifestyle marketplace.

Besides Chelsie Hightower (Dancing With the Stars), Sugar and Bruno also works with Stacey Tookey (Judge and Emmy Nominated Choreographer, So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD)), Keltie Colleen (Former Rockette, author, also known for her turn on The Bachelor), film and television actress Mollee Gray (Runner up, SYTYCD),Kent Boyd (Runner up, SYTYCD), and more.

Sugar and Bruno, one of the world’s most recognizable brands among teen and young adult dancers, was launched in 2007 by its parent company Progressive Design Apparel, Inc (founded 1989).
