Houston is geared up and excitement filled with the arrival of one of the most anticipated events of the year, Community Fashion Week. Everything is set for the start of the most anticipated event of the year: The highly anticipated 2013 edition of Houston International Fashion Week dubbed Community fashion week will officially open on thursday August 1st to End Sunday August 4th 2013, with the presentation of renowned Brazilian, Mexican, African, Caribbean, European and Asian Cultural Showcases.
From August 1st – August 4th 2013, Houston will be the center of attraction for all culture focused, family oriented and fashionistas with the arrival of new and renowned designers, who will be presenting their exclusive designs and excited guests who are eager to attend.
Houston International Fashion Week® is set to celebrate the Cultural Heritage of the Residents of Houston. A 4 Day Cultural Extravaganza celebrating the Heritages of Americans, Texans, Mexicans, Africans, Hispanics, Indians, Asians, Caribbeans in Houston TEXAS. This Year at the Kitty Hollow Park in Missouri City, there will be a Soccer Tournament that will Include Houston Models vs Houston Family Residents and a Rematch Between Nigeria VS Mexico Soccer teams.
HIFW promises a first of its kind production fashion week that makes fashion culture approachable and accessible to all without a price tag (no admission fee/ticket fee). HIFW was founded as a community development initiative to connect Houston International residents together and to put Houston on the map as a sparkling and international orientated fashion and community focused city.
