Pretus, Graham Asumadu Addo Score Perfect on AP Exams

“Considering that less than 1 in 5 students received perfect scores on social studies or history AP exams in 2020, Jackson Pretus, Oliver Graham and Nhyiraba Asumadu Addo should undoubtedly take pride in their accomplishments,” said Academic Dean Mike Goad.

Three Fork Union Military Academy cadets scored perfect 5’s on the AP US Government exams, the AP College Board announced Thursday. Trustee Scholar Jackson Pretus eared a 5 on both AP US Government and AP Comparative Government exams, while Oliver Graham and Nhyiraba Asumadu Addo both received 5’s on the AP US Government exam.

“This achievement is a testament not only to their God-given abilities but their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence in the classroom as well. I have no doubt that there are more perfect scores to come from these gentlemen in the coming years.”

The three helped improve Fork Union Military Academy’s average on the AP US Government exam to a 3.44, which is well above the state (2.91) and global (2.63) average. The Academy’s AP Comparative Government exam average of 3.43 is also well above the state (2.93) and global (3.16) average.

“As a school, we should certainly feel a sense of pride in what this year’s AP US Government and AP Comparative Government students accomplished on both a state and global level,” said Goad. “Being the humble man that he is, I know that LTC Pat Campbell (USMC Retired)—who taught both courses this year—would give all the credit to his students. However, he certainly deserves recognition for his efforts and dedication as their instructor. I congratulate LTC Campbell and his students on a job very well done.”

Congratulations, gentlemen!
