Thursday November 8th, 2012 guests are invited to a spectacular evening of exquisitely prepared tastings accompanied by a selection of full flavored wines chosen from the Trinchero Family Estates in Napa Valley. This Winemaker’s Dinner presented by Wild River Grille, and served in the River Room, is an opportunity for guests to familiarize themselves with the exceptional family of single vineyard wines that the Trinchero Family has created and the creatively prepared dishes from chefs Joe Bell and Jessica Maruffo of Wild River Grille.

The cost for the dinner is $95.00 per person and begins with sparkling wine and an amuse bouche followed by four courses carefully paired with a Trinchero wine. The evening’s menu will feature a scallop-stuffed mushroom with vibrant gremolata paired with Mary’s Sauvignon Blanc, a grilled peppercorn marinated quail paired with Central Park West Petit Verdot, lamb stew with chipotle creme fraiche paired with Chicken Ranch Merlot and a coffee rubbed beef tenderloin with hominy and potato puree paired with Haystack Cabernet Sauvignon.. “We are happy to be partnering with Trinchero for this event” said Chuck Shapiro, owner. “And at the same time, we’re helping support the local art scene which is a vibrant part of the downtown riverwalk district.”

A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Brüka Theatre located across the river on Reno’s main strip. Brüka Theater is a performance art space featuring classic, contemporary, musical, and original theatre. Housed in the landmark Riverside Artist Lofts building on the Riverwalk, Wild River Grille has become a mainstay of the Reno culinary and art, and music scene. Trinchero has been delivering the most inspiring flavors from around the globe for more than 60 years. “Sharing a bottle of wine, whether over a dinner table or a romantic evening, is a tradition that we fully embrace” states Trinchero.

The November 8th, Winemaker’s dinner will be hosted by representatives from Trinchero Estates who will be providing history and education on the varietals of wine being served with the evenings dinner. This is a perfect event for food and wine lovers of all levels and will provide a beautiful and comfortable setting to enjoy a full array of tastefully prepared entrées.
